Lewis and Clark Recreation Area is seeking a park manager to provide administrative assistance in a district consisting of four state park areas and multiple lakeside use areas. The position will conduct accounting for park revenue, permits and deposits; manage a point of sale system; be the lead worker for the permanent park maintenance staff (in the District Supervisor’s absence), fee collection staff and volunteer staff; coordinate campground reservations; operate the park gift shop; compile statistics for monthly reports; serve as a contact point for park users; coordinate special event requests; attend public meetings and events; write contracts and monitor contractors’ work based on park rules and contract specifications; and perform maintenance duties. Park Manager, Custer State Park, Custer, SD

Custer State Park is seeking a park manager whose main focuses are to manage the five entrance gates and assist with the management of the campgrounds which include 350 campsites, 50 camper cabins and numerous day use areas. The incumbent will coordinate hiring of staff and volunteers to ensure the successful operation of the gate and campground programs within the park and over sees the operation of the point of sale program; and also acts as the volunteer and seasonal housing coordinator. Director of Park and Recreation, City of Great Falls, Montana

The City of Great Falls is seeking energetic, professional and accomplished candidates for a Director of Park and Recreation position. Ideal candidates will have well rounded management experience with a focus on Park Management and Recreation programming. The new Director will have several unique opportunities in this position; to guide (and shape) the organization through the financing and implementation of a recently adopted Park and Recreation Master Plan, to take the already strong partnerships with our military and business community partners to the next level, and to continue to forge an eager group of employees into an empowered “TEAM.” The Director of Park and Recreation will have responsibilities that include leading the City’s divisions of Urban Parks/Forestry, Pools, Recreation Center and Golf Courses. A bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation management, public administration, public policy, business administration, or related field from an accredited college or university is required; a master’s degree is preferred. A Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) or Certified Park and Recreation Executive (CPRE) is desired. The starting salary range is mid-$80,000s to mid-$90,000s DOQ. Benefits package.
