SDPRA Student Scholarship Application

The Awards

South Dakota Park and Recreation Association awards three (3) four hundred twenty-five dollar ($425) scholarships

Each scholarship winner is also awarded a free conference registration and renewed membership in the SDPRA for one year. Scholarships are awarded at the SDPRA’s Annual Fall Conference.

Eligibility

Applicants for these awards must:

Be a full-time student (Junior or Senior) during the year the scholarship is awarded. (12 credit hours or more)
Be majoring in recreation, parks, and/or leisure studies at a South Dakota college or university.
Be a member of the South Dakota Parks and Recreation Association at the time the application is made. (Forms are available from the address below.)

The Scholarship Application Form and a copy of your College/University Transcript are needed to apply for the SDPRA Scholarships. You may complete the application process on line or mail the form and transcript to:
