Association Activities Committee Meeting

  1. Call to order – Members present: Becky Graff, Erin Goeden, Doug Lowe, Keith Hepper, Billy Kelly, Kevin Devries, Loren Tolsma, Matt Brandhagen, Andy Lueth, Alecia Hoffman, Kristy Lintz, Linda Ahrendt, Nancy Teachout, and Sandy Melstad.

 

  1. Approval of February Minutes – Motion to approve by Doug and Seconded by Erin

 

  1. Items to Discuss:
    1. Hershey Update – Kristy mentioned the Hershey’s website and use. Terry was unable to attend. Lauren will be meeting with Terry regarding State items.
    2. Aquatics Branch – Alicia informed us that the speaker for the workshop pulled out and they are attempting to find a new one. She will keep everyone posted.
    3. Outdoor Expo – The decision was not to participate as our own activity, but possibly support Healthy SD’s booth. At this time know one has volunteered.
    4. AAU Golf Program – Doug is still inquiring about Municipal Golf Courses that would like to participate in an AAU state wide league.
    5. Healthy SD Update – They are working with and advertising group to create a logo for the Great Day of Play. They will work on creating flyers, PSA and incentives for us to give out. They are also trying to get the Governor involved for promotions.
    6. Other Business – none
